# Tommy's Express vs Lansing Connect

The clearest difference is rating: Tommy's Express at 4.6 against Lansing Connect's 3.1. Tommy's Express also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 14 months). Lansing Connect's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (36% vs 28%). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Tommy's Express holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tommy's Express has 5.5K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of Tommy's Express's written reviews are positive against 36% of Lansing Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tommy's Express ships an update every 9 days, Lansing Connect every 14 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
