# Tommy's Express vs MN Fair Guide

The clearest difference is monetization model: MN Fair Guide at free against Tommy's Express's free with in-app purchases. MN Fair Guide also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 9 days) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). Tommy's Express's advantage is ratings volume (4.8K vs 4) and chart position (#167 vs unranked). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MN Fair Guide holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tommy's Express has 4.8K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Tommy's Express ships an update every 9 days, MN Fair Guide every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
