# Otsimo | Special Education 1+ vs Proloquo

The clearest difference is monetization model: Otsimo | Special Education 1+ at free with in-app purchases against Proloquo's subscription. Otsimo | Special Education 1+ also leads on rating (4.3 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (638 vs 148). Proloquo's advantage is ads (none vs shown). Both are free to download. Otsimo | Special Education 1+ sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Proloquo sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
