# Executive Command vs TeachTap

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Executive Command at none against TeachTap's 18. Executive Command also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (79% vs 67%). TeachTap's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 months) and rating (4.5 vs 4.2). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TeachTap sells 18 one-off in-app purchases. Executive Command asks for nothing beyond the download.

TeachTap holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TeachTap has 881 ratings behind it against 83, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of Executive Command's written reviews are positive against 67% of TeachTap's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Executive Command ships an update every 6 months, TeachTap every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
