# LandPKS Classic vs EDDMapS Pro

LandPKS Classic and EDDMapS Pro both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of LandPKS Classic's written reviews are positive against 0% of EDDMapS Pro's. LandPKS Classic also leads on ratings volume (6 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.6). EDDMapS Pro's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EDDMapS Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LandPKS Classic has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of LandPKS Classic's written reviews are positive against 0% of EDDMapS Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LandPKS Classic ships an update every 4 months, EDDMapS Pro every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
