# The Weapon King vs Levelup RPG

The clearest difference is ads: The Weapon King at none against Levelup RPG's shown. The Weapon King also leads on review sentiment (85% vs 65%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). Levelup RPG's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (378 vs 48). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Weapon King sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and Levelup RPG sells 14 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Levelup RPG holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Levelup RPG has 378 ratings behind it against 48, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of The Weapon King's written reviews are positive against 65% of Levelup RPG's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
