# uTalk vs Refia

The clearest difference is rating: Refia at 5.0 against uTalk's 4.4. Refia also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 63%) and in-app purchases (none vs 92). uTalk's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (1K vs 2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. uTalk sells 91 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Refia asks for nothing beyond the download.

Refia holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: uTalk has 1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 63% of uTalk's written reviews are positive against 100% of Refia's.
