# uTalk vs Learn Neapolitan

The clearest difference is rating: uTalk at 4.4 against Learn Neapolitan's 3.0. uTalk also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1K vs 1). Learn Neapolitan's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 63%) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. uTalk sells 92 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Learn Neapolitan sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

uTalk holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: uTalk has 1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of uTalk's written reviews are positive against 100% of Learn Neapolitan's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

uTalk ships an update monthly, Learn Neapolitan every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
