# WOD Roulette vs SmartWOD Workout Generator

The clearest difference is monetization model: WOD Roulette at free with in-app purchases against SmartWOD Workout Generator's subscription. WOD Roulette also leads on iOS requirement (13 vs 15.1). SmartWOD Workout Generator's advantage is ratings volume (4.8K vs 22) and rating (4.9 vs 4.6). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WOD Roulette sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SmartWOD Workout Generator sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SmartWOD Workout Generator holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SmartWOD Workout Generator has 4.8K ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two.
