# Room Escape [SECRET CODE 2] vs Escape Game

The clearest difference is ads: Escape Game at none against Room Escape [SECRET CODE 2]'s shown. Escape Game also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (160 vs 24). Room Escape [SECRET CODE 2]'s advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Room Escape [SECRET CODE 2] holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Escape Game has 160 ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 95% of Room Escape [SECRET CODE 2]'s written reviews are positive against 96% of Escape Game's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
