# Spotlight vs Cosmic Path

The clearest difference is update cadence: Cosmic Path at every 2 months against Spotlight's every 7 months. Spotlight's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spotlight sells 19 one-off in-app purchases and Cosmic Path sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Spotlight ships an update every 7 months, Cosmic Path every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 22, 2026.
