# Collageable vs TripTails

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: TripTails at none against Collageable's 10. TripTails also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). Collageable's advantage is ratings volume (513K vs 1) and chart position (#65 vs unranked). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Collageable sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. TripTails asks for nothing beyond the download.

TripTails holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Collageable has 513K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Collageable ships an update fortnightly, TripTails every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
