# priorigami vs Task

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Task at 100% against priorigami's 60%. Task also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). priorigami's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and update cadence (every 4 months vs every 16 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

priorigami holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of priorigami's written reviews are positive against 100% of Task's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

priorigami ships an update every 4 months, Task every 16 months. The most recent releases landed on June 1, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
