# Carrabba's vs Sous

The clearest difference is update cadence: Sous at every 3 days against Carrabba's's every 3 weeks. Sous also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Carrabba's's advantage is ratings volume (11K vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Carrabba's against 5.0 for Sous. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Carrabba's has 11K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Carrabba's ships an update every 3 weeks, Sous every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
