# Timer vs Pro Timer

The clearest difference is rating: Pro Timer at 5.0 against Timer's 4.4. Pro Timer also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ads (none vs shown). Timer's advantage is ratings volume (81 vs 1). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month. Pro Timer asks for nothing beyond the download.

Pro Timer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timer has 81 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
