# Timer vs Timer Pro

The clearest difference is ads: Timer Pro at none against Timer's shown. Timer Pro also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Timer's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (81 vs 10). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month and Timer Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Timer holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timer has 81 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two.
