# Timer vs My CountDown

The clearest difference is update cadence: My CountDown at every 6 days against Timer's fortnightly. My CountDown also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month and My CountDown sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Timer ships an update fortnightly, My CountDown every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
