# Flare vs Vida Connect

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Flare at 6.7K against Vida Connect's 12. Flare also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Flare holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flare has 6.7K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 97% of Flare's written reviews are positive against 100% of Vida Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flare ships an update every 3 days, Vida Connect weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
