# Flare vs Verda

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Flare at none against Verda's 1. Flare also leads on ratings volume (6.9K vs 3) and chart position (#83 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Verda sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Flare asks for nothing beyond the download.

Flare holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flare has 6.9K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
