# Flare vs LiveVibe

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Flare at none against LiveVibe's 3. Flare also leads on ratings volume (6.8K vs 18) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 8 days). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LiveVibe sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Flare asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Flare against 4.8 for LiveVibe. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flare has 6.8K ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 97% of Flare's written reviews are positive against 100% of LiveVibe's.

Flare ships an update every 3 days, LiveVibe every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
