# Flare vs Stack43

The clearest difference is update cadence: Flare at every 3 days against Stack43's monthly. Flare also leads on ratings volume (6.7K vs 1) and chart position (#71 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Flare against 5.0 for Stack43. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flare has 6.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Flare ships an update every 3 days, Stack43 monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
