# Flare vs SolMo

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Flare at 6.7K against SolMo's 1. Flare also leads on chart position (#76 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). SolMo's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 3 days). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Flare against 5.0 for SolMo. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flare has 6.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Flare ships an update every 3 days, SolMo daily. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
