# Gravity Switch vs G

The clearest difference is ads: Gravity Switch at none against G's shown. Gravity Switch also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 17 months) and ratings volume (1.4K vs 101). G's advantage is review sentiment (79% vs 60%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gravity Switch sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and G sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Gravity Switch holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gravity Switch has 1.4K ratings behind it against 101, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Gravity Switch's written reviews are positive against 79% of G's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Gravity Switch ships an update every 5 days, G every 17 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
