# Stratostar vs MyCCU

The clearest difference is rating: Stratostar at 5.0 against MyCCU's 3.3. Stratostar also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). MyCCU's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (12 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Stratostar holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyCCU has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Stratostar ships an update every 10 months, MyCCU every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
