# Pure Countdown vs Arithmos

The clearest difference is monetization model: Pure Countdown at free against Arithmos's paid. Pure Countdown also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pure Countdown sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Arithmos sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
