# Soon vs Eventful

The clearest difference is rating: Eventful at 5.0 against Soon's 4.6. Soon's advantage is ratings volume (39 vs 1) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Soon sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Eventful sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Eventful holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Soon has 39 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
