# Cell Towers Canada vs DSC Connect

The clearest difference is rating: DSC Connect at 4.7 against Cell Towers Canada's 2.5. DSC Connect also leads on ratings volume (291 vs 17). Cell Towers Canada's advantage is review sentiment (36% vs 17%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DSC Connect holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DSC Connect has 291 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of Cell Towers Canada's written reviews are positive against 17% of DSC Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
