# 8 Ball Mania vs 8 Pool Master

The clearest difference is rating: 8 Pool Master at 4.6 against 8 Ball Mania's 3.0. 8 Pool Master also leads on ratings volume (21K vs 1) and chart position (#160 vs unranked). 8 Ball Mania's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 8 Ball Mania sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and 8 Pool Master sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

8 Pool Master holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 8 Pool Master has 21K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
