# Timelogger Plus vs FocusTime

The clearest difference is monetization model: FocusTime at free against Timelogger Plus's free with in-app purchases. FocusTime also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 76%) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timelogger Plus sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and FocusTime sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Timelogger Plus ships an update every 2 weeks, FocusTime every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
