# ธัญวลัย vs MaReads

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ธัญวลัย at 77% against MaReads's 20%. ธัญวลัย also leads on rating (4.3 vs 2.8) and ratings volume (341 vs 4). MaReads's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ธัญวลัย sells 15 one-off in-app purchases and MaReads sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ธัญวลัย holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ธัญวลัย has 341 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 77% of ธัญวลัย's written reviews are positive against 20% of MaReads's.

ธัญวลัย ships an update weekly, MaReads fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
