# Hik vs Guarding Vision

The clearest difference is update cadence: Hik at every 8 days against Guarding Vision's monthly. Hik also leads on chart position (#87 vs unranked) and ratings volume (172K vs 22K). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Hik against 4.7 for Guarding Vision. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hik has 172K ratings behind it against 22K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 25% of Hik's written reviews are positive against 31% of Guarding Vision's.

Hik ships an update every 8 days, Guarding Vision monthly. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
