# WeCom vs EDUtech

The clearest difference is rating: EDUtech at 4.8 against WeCom's 2.4. EDUtech also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). WeCom's advantage is ratings volume (1.4K vs 4) and review sentiment (17% vs 0%). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EDUtech holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WeCom has 1.4K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of WeCom's written reviews are positive against 0% of EDUtech's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WeCom ships an update every 6 weeks, EDUtech fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
