# MCQS vs TalkTinker

The clearest difference is update cadence: TalkTinker at every 6 days against MCQS's every 2 weeks. MCQS's advantage is iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MCQS sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $8.99 per month and TalkTinker sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MCQS ships an update every 2 weeks, TalkTinker every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
