# MobileDetect vs Verkada Command

The clearest difference is monetization model: MobileDetect at free against Verkada Command's paid. MobileDetect also leads on review sentiment (82% vs 48%) and rating (4.4 vs 4.2). Verkada Command's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (234 vs 25). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
