# Mars Info vs CAOCAP

The clearest difference is price: CAOCAP at Free against Mars Info's $6.99. CAOCAP also leads on review sentiment (71% vs 42%) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months). Mars Info's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.5) and in-app purchases (none vs 2). On ads there is nothing between them.

CAOCAP is free to download; Mars Info costs $6.99 up front. CAOCAP sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Mars Info asks for nothing beyond the download.

Mars Info holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mars Info has 159 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of Mars Info's written reviews are positive against 71% of CAOCAP's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mars Info ships an update every 2 months, CAOCAP every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
