# Cat vs Rescue Master!

The clearest difference is rating: Rescue Master! at 4.7 against Cat's 4.0. Rescue Master! also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 4). Cat's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cat sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Rescue Master! asks for nothing beyond the download.

Rescue Master! holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rescue Master! has 1.3K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Cat's written reviews are positive against 71% of Rescue Master!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cat ships an update every 3 weeks, Rescue Master! every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
