# Prolux vs Brevity Care Software

The clearest difference is update cadence: Brevity Care Software at every 3 weeks against Prolux's every 4 months. Prolux's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Prolux ships an update every 4 months, Brevity Care Software every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
