# Pocket Prep CompTIA Security+ vs CompTIA Cert Prep

The clearest difference is rating: CompTIA Cert Prep at 5.0 against Pocket Prep CompTIA Security+'s 4.6. CompTIA Cert Prep also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). Pocket Prep CompTIA Security+'s advantage is ratings volume (1.4K vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pocket Prep CompTIA Security+ sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $20.99 per month and CompTIA Cert Prep sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
