# Scenic Motorcycle Navigation vs Blue Light Maps

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Scenic Motorcycle Navigation at 75% against Blue Light Maps's 35%. Scenic Motorcycle Navigation also leads on ratings volume (7.5K vs 1) and chart position (#94 vs unranked). Blue Light Maps's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scenic Motorcycle Navigation sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $14.90 per month and Blue Light Maps sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Blue Light Maps holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scenic Motorcycle Navigation has 7.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Scenic Motorcycle Navigation's written reviews are positive against 35% of Blue Light Maps's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Scenic Motorcycle Navigation ships an update every 2 weeks, Blue Light Maps every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
