# LINX vs SAP Events

The clearest difference is review sentiment: LINX at 67% against SAP Events's 20%. LINX also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16). SAP Events's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SAP Events holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SAP Events has 1.1K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of LINX's written reviews are positive against 20% of SAP Events's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LINX ships an update every 6 months, SAP Events every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
