# Voice Teleprompter Lite vs WizScript

The clearest difference is rating: WizScript at 5.0 against Voice Teleprompter Lite's 2.9. Voice Teleprompter Lite's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and ratings volume (39 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Voice Teleprompter Lite sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and WizScript sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WizScript holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Voice Teleprompter Lite has 39 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Voice Teleprompter Lite ships an update weekly, WizScript every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
