# Bible Hub vs Ellie

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Bible Hub at none against Ellie's 5. Bible Hub also leads on ratings volume (121K vs 1) and chart position (#126 vs unranked). Ellie's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 10 months). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ellie sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Bible Hub asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Bible Hub against 5.0 for Ellie. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bible Hub has 121K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Bible Hub ships an update every 10 months, Ellie every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
