# TikiLIVE vs AW TV

The clearest difference is rating: AW TV at 5.0 against TikiLIVE's 3.8. AW TV also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). TikiLIVE's advantage is ratings volume (18 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AW TV holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TikiLIVE has 18 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TikiLIVE ships an update every 6 months, AW TV every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
