# GLOBE Observer vs CAP Cadet Promotions

The clearest difference is rating: CAP Cadet Promotions at 3.5 against GLOBE Observer's 3.1. GLOBE Observer's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (91 vs 10). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CAP Cadet Promotions holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GLOBE Observer has 91 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of GLOBE Observer's written reviews are positive against 27% of CAP Cadet Promotions's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GLOBE Observer ships an update every 2 months, CAP Cadet Promotions every 8 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
