# Academy 831 vs SoFi Stadium

The clearest difference is monetization model: Academy 831 at free against SoFi Stadium's free with in-app purchases. Academy 831 also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). SoFi Stadium's advantage is ratings volume (1.7K vs 8) and chart position (#197 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Academy 831 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SoFi Stadium has 1.7K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.
