# Derdost vs Locas

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Locas at none against Derdost's 3. Locas also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly). Derdost's advantage is ratings volume (30 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Derdost sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Locas asks for nothing beyond the download.
