# TIMEBOX vs Goopy!

The clearest difference is rating: TIMEBOX at 4.7 against Goopy!'s 4.0. TIMEBOX also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (38 vs 2). Goopy!'s advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TIMEBOX sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Goopy! asks for nothing beyond the download.

TIMEBOX holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TIMEBOX has 38 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 97% of TIMEBOX's written reviews are positive against 100% of Goopy!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TIMEBOX ships an update every 3 weeks, Goopy! every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
