# Virtual Journeys for Fitbit vs CouchFit

The clearest difference is price: Virtual Journeys for Fitbit at Free against CouchFit's $5.99. Virtual Journeys for Fitbit also leads on review sentiment (33% vs 0%) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). CouchFit's advantage is rating (3.0 vs 2.4) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Virtual Journeys for Fitbit is free to download; CouchFit costs $5.99 up front. Virtual Journeys for Fitbit sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and CouchFit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CouchFit holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Virtual Journeys for Fitbit has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Virtual Journeys for Fitbit's written reviews are positive against 0% of CouchFit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Virtual Journeys for Fitbit ships an update every 2 months, CouchFit every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
