# Контакт vs VKos

The clearest difference is ads: VKos at none against Контакт's shown. VKos also leads on review sentiment (68% vs 56%). Контакт's advantage is rating (3.2 vs 2.8) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Контакт sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and VKos sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Контакт holds the better App Store score, 3.2 against 2.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 100 and 132 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Контакт's written reviews are positive against 68% of VKos's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Контакт ships an update fortnightly, VKos every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
