# Tally vs BunkMate

The clearest difference is rating: Tally at 4.4 against BunkMate's 3.3. Tally also leads on ratings volume (4.1K vs 4) and review sentiment (33% vs 24%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tally sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and BunkMate sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tally holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tally has 4.1K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 33% of Tally's written reviews are positive against 24% of BunkMate's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
